Brilliant site, I always check it when there is a storm. I didn't realise the data came from your own storm tracker. Very cool.

There is no such thing as "North Cyprus", which Mustafa Altunc mentions. Only free and occupied parts of Cyprus. Please, do not support or forget, than you. Congrats for the page and the work behind it! Maybe we could all help.

Why have you changed your lightning display? All I can now see is a blank page, the other display was much more informative. I really do not like this latest modification.

Hi  Adrian, My stormtracker was fried by a narby lightning strike, the replacement from Blitzortung.org should be visible on all platforms, If you are running an ad blocker please disable it to see if tht fixes the problem..Cyprus Storms live does not run adverts on the site so an adblocker is not necessary. If that doesnt work try ctrl+F5 to force a refresh of your screen if neither work please contact me direct at webmaster@cyprus-storms.net.

Your site is undeniably the best site I have seen for local weather and the Eastern Mediterranean Sea. I am a forecaster for the Canadian Armed Forces and when I came across your site this morning I was impressed. I just wish I had found it a lot sooner would have made my job a lot easier. The coverage of different topics is very helpful knowing both seismic activities around the Med could potentially affect wave production or potential threat to shipping as well as land based activities, I don’t have to search it is part of your site. Thank you. The lightning chart is good clear to read but if needed to print for Ships Captain or Aircrew hard on ink. A printable version would be great not as colorful but easier to read. Reference lines LAT/LONG would also help the search of potential lightning strikes on land and proximity to Ships location it opens up the use for forestry and crop damage. Over all I do like your site thanks.

Dear Charles,

Thank you for your kind words about Cyprus Storms Live. I have taken yout points and comments 'on board' no pun intended...lol. I will see which of them I can impliment on the site although I must point you to the disclaimer at the bottom of the sites main page , ref 'data not being used for the preservation of life or property'. Thanks again for your comments.

Excellent site only the SATPIC missing. However, I have tried to donate three times in the past six months but the PayPal process does not work at all. You are left with a blank page it is hopeless!
